Services
I provide individual therapy for adults, including treatment of aging adults. I do couples counselling and family treatment. I provide full 55-minute sessions. I do therapy sessions in person. At the mental health centers I’ve worked with a variety of cases including: LGBTQ+, varies races, trauma, and addictions.
I have experience with Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt, Problem Solving, and Cognitive Behavioral techniques (CBT). These four therapy concepts that I endorse are all consistent with the person-centered approach of Carl Rogers. The emphasis in these therapies is on what you value and wish to change, not a prescribed solution from me. I am also well versed with DSM diagnoses and taught the new DSM 5.0 to Master’s students and mental health clinicians.
